Junpei Suzuki is a Junior Associate Professor of Political Science at the Faculty of Law, Komazawa University. He earned a PhD in political science from Waseda University in 2024. Prior to joining Komazawa, he served as a Research Associate at the Faculty of Political Science and Economics, Waseda University, and a JSPS Postdoctoral Fellow at the Institute of Social Science, the University of Tokyo. His primary research interest lies in comparative political economy, particularly partisan politics and public opinion in advanced democracies such as Europe and Japan. He is currently working on research projects on environmental policy, defence spending, fiscal policy, welfare, and so on.
駒澤大学法学部政治学科講師（専任）。早稲田大学政治経済学術院助手、東京大学社会科学研究所特任研究員（日本学術振興会特別研究員PD）を経て現職。2024年に早稲田大学より博士（政治学）取得。専門は比較政治経済学、特に欧州や日本などの先進国における党派政治と世論。現在は環境保護、防衛費、財政政策、福祉などをテーマに研究中。
同じ駒澤大学の総合教育研究部にいらっしゃるスポーツ医学・バレーボール専攻の鈴木淳平教授とは別人ですので、郵便物を送られる際などはご注意ください（「法学部政治学科」とご指定ください）。
